About Our Salon
At Good Vibrations we understand that grooming is not something that all dogs enjoy. It is our mission to make the process as comfortable and low stress as possible. Grooming is done by appointment only to minimize the amount of dogs in the salon at any given time. We take our time to keep your dog relaxed and use gentle handling techniques. Because we strive to keep things calm, if a dog becomes too fearful or aggressive we will ask that you pick them up. If you are worried that your dog may become anxious, feel free to schedule a meet and greet with one of our stylists! Consultation is free and can reduce the stress of that first appointment.

Tasha Wood
Groomer
Tasha has a master groomer certification through IPG and has been working since 2010. She has competed in multiple grooming competitions and has come 1st place, not once, but TWICE with an English Cocker Spaniel cut. Her hard work has also gone into earning a BS in Environmental Science and a GIS certificate. She is in LOVE with poodles of all sizes. Her pair of pups are Pip & Lyric, who are always looking poodle perfect. Lyric is trained in agility, scentwork, lure coursing, and rally-o! Pip knows scentwork and is working towards being an expert like Lyric! When she's not revolving around dogs, Tasha likes to go hiking and nature exploring with her husband.

Khayl Bond
Receptionist
Khayl has been in the dog industry since 2012. She started working in pet retail and moved up to dog training and nutrition specialization. Khayl has dog handling experience from working at a few doggy daycares and has always had a love of pets. If you're in need of a sitter or boarder, she will provide a great service with affordable rates. She has also started apprenticing under a local dog trainer to enhance her skills. Fostering is also a passion of hers and usually has one or two furbabies that need a furever home. Khayl is no stranger to snuggles and loves to care for her family's full household of 8 pets, cats and dogs.
Tina has been grooming for near a decade. She made the transition to the pet industry after reading the Buddhist quote "Follow your bliss and you will find it." With a heart of gold and an infectious smile she is here to provide all of the love your pet needs while being groomed. Tina regularly attends continuing education classes to further her knowledge and learn new ways to provide a calm approach to grooming. When she's not loving dogs here at the salon, she enjoys all forms of art and going for walks with her poodle, Molly.

Shepherd Calder
Groomer
Shepherd is from Vashon Island and started his grooming journey back in the summer of 2019. He was a bather that showed great potential to learn and grow in the industry. Shepherd did take a break for a year but decided his love for grooming was too strong to ignore. He is very well experienced in a variety of breed cuts, and while he prefers working on larger dogs, he gives just as much love and care to the littles! Our team has a general love of all animals, and Shepherd is no exception. He currently lives with four cats, but his furever soulmate is a sweet black kitty named Wednesday.

Courtney Parker
Bather
Courtney has been such a delightful addition to our team! She has five years of experience working in vet clinics and three years working in doggy daycares. So we can say she’s an expert for sure! Courtney lives and breathes animals and tends to her horse in her off time. She has two children and two furbabies dogs as well! Port Orchard was where she grew up so you may recognize her if you’re a local! Courtney has the magic touch and even some of our grumpiest clients have melted in her hands. She’s a wonderful bather and helps everyone on our team.

Elizabeth Strani- Tovar
Receptionist
Elizabeth has been a part of the pet industry since 2008 when she began working at an animal hospital in New York. When not at the salon she works with Southern Counties Rescue NWC, where she is passionate about helping "grumpy" (feral) and disabled animals find their perfect home. She also enjoys helping others learn proper nutrition for our four legged friends. Elizabeth loves all animals but has a soft spot in her heart for cats and dogs. She is now a proud cat mom but previously had two amazing pugs of her own. Elizabeth is always excited to meet your pup and watch them grow and come out of their shell!
